Well the time has come.

I just did a change over to different accounts on DA and thought to do the same on here.
I've been meaning to do it for a while now. I really don't like batty_angel any more and I just felt that a change was needed. I know I barely update (mainly because I stay in lurker mode or reblog everything over at Tumblr... yeah.) but I just thought I'd let you guys know.

I'm still going to be posting my art stuff and fanart things on my new journal.

Off-topic, but I just finished a book called 'When God Was A Rabbit' by Sarah Winman. I thought it was a sweet book and worth a read /end of terrible book review.

LOL I thought I already made this post a week ago... why didn't I just see that it didn't post on my recent entries? Because I'm dumb and easily distracted.

Not much happening other than catching up with my reading and going through the motions with family-fun times - I'm not even going to write about it. Stuff is happening and I'm just saying 'OK' to the lot. On the upside, MY BABY GIRL ERIKA IS BACK FROM JAPAN AND FRANCE!! 8DDD I had a faint phone call from her earlier today and felt happy to hear my comrade's voice again - for tomorrow we shall meet again and cause mischief in the park. Also, I'm planning my outfit for London Pride this Saturday :D The theme is 'A Carnival of Love' and the only thing I'm certain to wear is the disastrous rainbow dress that I've fallen in love with. I was going to do a witchy-outfit, but with the sudden change in weather in mind, I'm not sure if I wanna sweat myself to death wearing the cape and hat. Well, it's a work in progress.

Oh yeah, and this Friday we get our exam results back D: I'm scared to see how badly I've failed Varieties. The bloody mess I sent in for my portfolio can only have bad results. I'm just hoping I did well enough in my other subjects to pass on to next year >.>

Anyways, just dumping some fanarts in this post and putting my originally-surrealy-things that nobody likes in the next post :D

Hey everybody. Sorry for the lack of updates, I've been living over at Tumblr and been busy with my project for my final year. >.>
But I'm free to do whatever I want.... bring on the procrastination and creative blocks! \o/.

STUPID THING I HAVE DONE THIS WEEK:
Leaving a large portion of my research and essay for Varieties on the bus.
Tried calling the bus station in the futile hope that everyone left it alone on the seat - nada. I don't know if I should laugh at the fact that someone in London has actually stolen my coursework, or cry and stick my head in the oven... not that that would do anything since only one stove-top and the grill works... yeah I'm just going to scream in my head and just concentrate on my European Cinema work  for the time being. I might as well try to do super well on one course and watch the other one succumb like a slow-motioned train-crash.

On the upside, South Park is back :D

In a good mood despite having a week to finish my essays... no, actually, screw essays right now. I'M ENJOYING THE SUDDEN COOL WEATHER *spreads arms wide to the oncoming breeze* COME TO ME LITTLE BREEZE OF LOVELINESS. Lol I'm pathetic. I've been out in the sun for a total of 35 minutes and still managed to get sun burnt \o/ This is how I prove my pansy British side of myself - whine about barely warm weather by calling it 'Too hot' and sit in a fridge.
But since I'm currently eating tuna, sweetcorn and pasta - I couldn't give a fig about anything :]

Anyhoo, I bring drawings (though I must warn you all - I'm a bit rusty on my drawing skills since the closest I've been to drawing is doodling all over my notes >.>...)

EDIT: Omg I must have been tired last night, I don't remember posting this XDDD
So yeah...  sorry about the confusing post.

I have been drawing alongside writing painful essays (and Tumbling to my hearts content Hashahaha...) and had an evil computer virus that killed my Kaspersky firewall.
With that aside, I'm currently taking a break since my uni is trying very hard to be a troll by trying to say I owe them a £5 fine for an 'over-due' dvd that isn't due for another 3 days, and finding out about an exam for European Cinema... WHICH NOBODY MENTIONED (I'm not kidding. The guy who has been teaching us for the whole year sucks. Even better - this is the same guy who is suppose to be helping me with my dissertation next year... I'm screwed.)
That and I can't seem to get started with any of my Varieties projects. Nucking Futs.

But on the upside, spent some quality time with some old friends for drunken fun that resulted with a shoe stuck on the roof and a video of me singing my own special version of 'Don't Let Me Get Me' on Facebook... it was still fun though :D

I'm still on a hiatus until after 20th May, where all my exams and coursework should be done and dusted by then \o/

I probably should have put this up about a month ago instead of apologizing in every update for not updating :|
So yeah, calling in a semi-hiatus since I'll be doing a crud-load of essays until May. I know I've already said this, but I thought to make it official \o/

In other news: I have a ton of drawings to post up on here and DA, so there will be an art dump soon...
I'm just going to take advantage of the Uni's internet, skip European Cinema for once and just surf whilst editing my essays. And of course Tumblr too lol.

Heeeeey... Once again essays have been taking over my life (mainly because I had slacked off and now I have two to finish by the end of this month and another two to hand in at the beginning of May O_O I can't believe how quickly this year has gone by...

Anyways, I'm just writing this because I need some help with my dissertation.

Can anyone recommend some fantasy films that have been adapted from books?

I haven't really picked a question yet, but I'm planning on focusing on the fantasy genre and adaptations from books to film.
Obviously Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings are going in, although I want to include other adaptations to compare what and isn't close to the original text (I feel like my grammer is so screwed right now... I have no hope lol).

I was considering other books like The Wizard of Oz series and Howls Moving Castle - but if anyone can think of any other films/books in the fantasy genre it would be greatly appreciated...
